Each year, St Wilfrid’s Hospice Eastbourne proudly hosts their much-loved Starlight Stroll, a sponsored walk under the stars. This year, our team at Coda Pharmacy were thrilled to support the event with our very own hydration station.
St Wilfrid’s Hospice is a true pillar of the community, providing vital care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses. Their work has touched countless lives, including those of some of our own Coda team members.
The event took place on 13th September, offering participants the choice of a 5-mile or 10-mile walk, as well as the opportunity to lay a special lantern in the Italian Gardens- either in memory of a loved one or as a reflection on the incredible work of the hospice.
We were stationed at the Memory Gardens, where we handed out free bottles of water to walkers and their furry friends. It was an inspiring experience to meet so many dedicated participants and be part of such a meaningful event. We’re excited to continue supporting St Wilfrid’s Hospice and look forward to hosting more hydration stations at future charity events.
The walk brought together more than 1,000 participants and has raised over £80,000 so far. A huge thank you to St Wilfrid’s Hospice for welcoming us, and congratulations to everyone who took part in the Starlight Stroll!
