This month, our Coda Pharmacy team had the pleasure of hosting our very own free community health event, a day dedicated to promoting wellness and healthy living. We were thrilled to be joined by a range of healthcare professionals who offered health checks and expert advice to support the wellbeing of our community.
The event took place at The Gather, inside Eastbourne’s shopping centre, The Beacon, running from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We were honoured to welcome Eastbourne’s Mayor, Margaret Bannister, who officially opened the event and even took part by having a free health check herself!

Our Coda Pharmacy team was on hand throughout the day, offering blood pressure checks, BMI assessments, and personalised pharmacy advice to visitors. We were also joined by several fantastic local health organisations, each bringing their own expertise to support our community’s wellbeing.
Ear For You Eastbourne provided ear health checks and expert advice.
EMT Services offered hands-on CPR demonstrations, giving attendees the chance to learn essential lifesaving skills.
The Old Bank Wellbeing Trust joined us to share valuable mental health support and wellbeing resources.
East Sussex MSK Partnership offered practical guidance and assessments focused on muscle, bone, and joint health.
Together, these partners helped create a truly collaborative and informative day, empowering our community to take charge of their health in a friendly, accessible environment.
The day was a big success and we can’t thank everyone enough who came and showed their support in taking part in a free health check. It was amazing to connect with our community and support their health and wellbeing. We can’t wait to see you all at the next one!
