Frequently Asked Questions
Before You Register
Who can use this service?
Our service is available to patients registered with a GP in England who want a simpler way to manage their NHS prescriptions through our pharmacy.
Using our app, you can request prescriptions, track progress, and receive updates from us in one place.
Is this service free to use?
Yes. Using our app and prescription management service is free.
If you normally pay for NHS prescriptions, the standard NHS prescription charge applies. Patients with exemptions or prepayment certificates can still use the service.
What do I need to register?
When you sign up, you’ll be asked for:
- Your name and date of birth
- Your GP surgery details
- Details of your prescribed medicines
Providing your NHS number is optional but can help speed things up.
What happens after I register?
Once registered, your details are securely linked to our pharmacy through the NHS system.
You’ll then be able to log in to your account to request prescriptions, track progress, manage preferences, and set reminders.
Ordering Prescriptions
How do I order my prescription?
You can request your NHS repeat prescriptions through our app.
If your GP requires requests to be made directly, you can submit them via your GP surgery, SystemOnline, or the NHS App. Once approved, we’ll take care of dispensing and keep you updated.
When should I place my order?
We recommend requesting repeat prescriptions around 7 days before you need your medication. This allows enough time for GP approval and dispensing, helping prevent delays.
Can I set reminders to reorder my medicines?
Yes. You can set up reminders in the app so you’re notified when it’s time to reorder your regular prescriptions.
Notifications may be sent via the app and email, depending on your preferences.
Payments and Exemptions
I don’t pay for my prescriptions. Can I still use the service?
Yes. Patients with NHS exemptions can use the app. You’ll be able to add or update exemption details in your account.
Can I use a prescription prepayment certificate (PPC)?
Yes. Prescription prepayment certificates can be added to your account so your prescription charges are handled correctly.
Your Account
What can I do in my account?
Your account allows you to:
- Request NHS prescriptions
- Track prescription status

Can I access my account on my phone?

Prescription Tracking and Delivery
How do I track my prescription?
You can track your prescription through your account and receive app notifications as it moves through different stages, such as being prepared, ready to collect, or out for delivery.
Do you offer home delivery?
Home delivery is available for eligible patients. Availability and delivery methods may vary depending on your location and prescription type.
Can I change my delivery details?
Yes. You can update your delivery or collection preferences within your account before placing your next order.
